Assam CM Himanta Biswa on Manipur violence: “The situation in Manipur is improving day by day and I am of the opinion that more improvement will take place in the next one week or 10 days.”

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma asserted that the situation in the violence-hit state of Manipur is improving day by day.

Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed to the media that “The situation in Manipur is improving day by day and I am of the opinion that more improvement will take place in the next one week or 10 days.”

The NEDA chief blasted the Congress party, saying that it should have expressed worry while the situation was tense rather than wailing now that there is a modicum of calm.

“Silently, the Manipur government and Union Home Ministry are working to make peace in the valley, and the situation has seen vast differences,” he continued.

“People fear that things can go out of hand if the issue is not under control this time. The actions of the former administration led to the state’s current predicament. The people have complete faith in CM Biren’s administration, she continued.
