‘How’s the Josh’, 12th batch of IAF C-130J with 135 stranded Indians arrived Jeddah amid crisis hit Sudan
A C-130J flight operated by the Indian Air Force arrived in Jeddah bringing the twelfth batch of Indian passengers, 135 of whom were trapped in India. "Operation Kaveri" has resulted in the evacuation of hundreds of students from Sudan.
V Muraleedharan, the minister of state for external affairs, tweeted “How’s the josh?” and added that 2,100 Indians have arrived in Jeddah from Sudan, which has been the scene of violence.

According to Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, 2,100 Indians were taken back from Sudan and arrived in Jeddah overall. More Indians will still be evacuated, it is planned.
Sudan’s military and paramilitary rapid support forces have agreed to extend a ceasefire amid continued violence in the capital Khartoum and western Darfur. Sudan has faced violence and clashes between the military and paramilitary groups, with reports of violence continuing amid the ceasefire. India has deployed military aircraft and warships to ensure that Indian nationals are not left behind in Sudan.
