IndiGo has cancelled more than 180 domestic flights across Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru on Thursday, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
The airline is struggling to secure the required crew after the implementation of new flight-duty and rest-period norms for pilots.
IndiGo confirmed its network had been “significantly disrupted” over the last 48 hours and apologized to affected customers. These temporary schedule changes will remain for the next 48 hours to help normalize operations and recover punctuality.
Therefore, IndiGo teams are working round the clock to provide alternative flights or refunds to passengers whose travel plans were affected. The airline expects services to progressively stabilize, although passengers may still face delays or cancellations.
