CM Arvind Kejriwal holds massive rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday stands made a point of criticising the federal government’s ordinance on Sunday on the regulation of services in the capital, declaring that Delhi is the first to be “attacked” and that similar laws will be introduced for other states. The national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party said the Center’s ordinance was an insult to the residents of the city while speaking to the party’s “Maha Rally” at the Ramlila Maidan.

According to the ordinance, Delhi will not have democracy, he claimed. “Delhi will be a dictatorship, and the LG (lieutenant governor) would be in charge. The Centre will run Delhi, but the people can vote for anybody they like,” Kejriwal stated. “I have been travelling the nation, and I want the people of Delhi to know they are not alone,” Arvind Kejriwal said.
