Assam CM invites a twitter user to play badminton in Guwahati stadium against expressing regret over facilities in Mumbai

A Twitter user on July 9 reached out to Assam Chief Minister and President of the Badminton Association of India, Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressing a desire to play badminton again and expressing regret over the lack of facilities in Mumbai.

The Chief Minister soon replied, informing the user that a new stadium would be inaugurated on August 11 and extending an invitation to the user to visit Guwahati and play a game. He also spoke about the chance to go to the famed Maa Kamakhya temple and pray there.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has developed a reputation for aggressively interacting with users on social media, listening to their issues, and answering their questions.

In another instance on July 7, he came to the aid of BJP karyakarta Khusboo Singh, who required medical treatment. Singh expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister via Twitter, thanking him for his unwavering dedication and assistance, stating that his support would be the benchmark of success for the betterment of her life.

Many people have praised Himanta Biswa Sarma for his empathetic and sensitive attitude to citizen involvement on social media.
