Additionally included in this are delegations from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Greece, and the United States of America. IAF announced this on Sunday, marking the first time that it has taken part in major defence drill.
There will be five MiG-29, two IL-78, two C-130, and two C-17 aircraft in the Indian Air Force contingent. The IAF official stated that personnel from the IAF’s Garud Special Forces, as well as those from the Numbers 28, 77, 78, and 81 Squadrons, will take part in the exercise.
According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), a group of Indian Air Force (IAF) left on Sunday to take part in Exercise “BRIGHT STAR-23,” a biennial trilateral multilateral exercise that will take place at Cairo (West) Air Base in Egypt from August 27 to September 16.
