Assam’s Suman Adhikary achieved 2 Filmfare Awards for the movie ‘Badhaai Do’

Suman Adhikary of Barpeta, who won two ‘Filmfare Awards’ at the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards in 2023 in association with Maharashtra Tourism, has brought honour to Assam.

For the movie Badhaai Do, Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildiyal shared the Best Story Award, and Ghildiyal and Harshavardhan Kulkarni shared the Best Screenplay Award.

Adhikary has received recognition for his abilities before. He previously won the Filmfare for the directed and written short film Sorry Bhaisaab, and Badhaai Do has earned him an IIFA nomination for Best Screenplay.
