A video from a high-profile Delhi wedding has gone viral after a bride was seen politely refusing to dance with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan attended the private ceremony as a close acquaintance of the family and performed for the guests during the celebration.
In the viral clip, SRK is seen performing his track “Chaleya” from Jawan, dedicating it especially to the bride. When the superstar attempted to engage the bride in a light dance, she gently signaled a refusal, choosing to remain seated though later she went up to the stage. True to his charm, SRK did not push further. He continued the performance and invited the groom to join him on stage instead.
When the video went viral some criticized the bride as “awkward,” “rude,” or “not sporting.” Whereas some applauded her confidence, composure, and “self-respect,” appreciating how she didn’t get carried away by celebrity presence.
